2027 capital

Kenny published a plan (to himself) and executed it in public. Jadarian Price at 1.07 was the primary target all week: true 1.32 NFL capital, a vacated Seattle backfield after Walker left for KC, and the cleanest opportunity in the class. It fills the one structural hole on a contending roster, the 2027 RB2 that did not exist. Then the swing: 2.07 and 5.07 to Squirelly for pick 1.11, spent on Eli Stowers, the TE2 of the class, to fix a tight end room that was Evan Engram (31) and prayers. The prep board said fade Stowers at cost, and this was full price, but positional desperation plus Philly's TE-friendly offense makes it defensible. Stribling at 3.07 after Antonio Williams got sniped is honest value, and Cyrus Allen at 5.10 is a KC speed lottery straight to taxi.

THE HAUL

1.07
Jadarian Price RB SEA • 3,245 SF

The plan pick. Price walks into the RB1A role Macdonald spent June raving about.

1.11
Eli Stowers TE PHI • 2,287 SF acquired pick

Stowers fixes the worst TE room in the league with the class TE2. Paid retail, filled the hole.

3.07
De'Zhaun Stribling WR SF • 1,502 SF

Stribling is a 49ers WR with sneaky underneath chops. Fine consolation after the Williams snipe.

5.10
Cyrus Allen WR KC • 434 SF acquired pick

Cyrus Allen brings 4.3 speed to a Chiefs room that historically manufactures deep threats. Taxi dart.

Best pick

Jadarian Price at 1.07. Market said 1.06 value, need said RB, opportunity said Seattle. When the board hands you your exact plan, say thank you.

Riskiest move

Stowers at the 1.11 price. He had a flat spring and the board said he might last to 2.03. Paying a 2 plus a 5 to jump the queue is what desperation at TE looks like, even when it works.

3-YEAR OUTLOOK

Win-now, window 2026 through 2028
2026

Top-four team. JSN is the fifth-most valuable asset in dynasty, the Hurts-Stroud QB room wins most weeks, and the WR shelf (Odunze, Flowers, Higgins) is four deep. Playoff seed, and the ceiling depends on Judkins staying right.

2027

Core ages beautifully: JSN 25, Judkins 23, Price 23, Stroud 25, Odunze 25. The RB committee vets (Pollard, Stevenson, Kamara) all expire at once, so Price hitting is not optional, it is the plan. Full pick sheet plus Ward Hogs' third helps.

2028

Still contending if Stowers became the TE1 he was drafted to be. The roster's only true old money is at RB depth and TE backup, which is the correct place to be old. Quietly the most sustainable contender behind Rajib.

STASH WATCH

Cyrus Allen • Taxi-bound. KC speed slot with a career of Mahomes-adjacent upside ahead.

De'Zhaun Stribling • SF depth chart is one Jennings departure from opening a starting outside role.

Ollie Gordon • Second-year Miami bruiser. Achane's contract situation makes 2027 interesting.

Audric Estime • Taxi holdover in a New Orleans backfield with Kamara at 30. Volume could just fall on him.
